Li Zhen
He trained as a painter before turning to ceramics. That foundation remains visible in his glaze work: copper-green, pooling and blooming unevenly across a neutral ground, fired between 1,240°C and 1,270°C, where the glaze moves elegantly and no two results repeat. His practice spans four series of work: Waste Land, Mountains, Garden, and Revisit, each a distinct study within the same copper-green register.
